Autism Services
Easter Seals is the largest provider of autism services in the nation. Locally, we have served children with autism through or early childhood education, pediatric therapies, and in-home services programs. In autumn 2008 we expanded our services to offer programs designed to meet the specific needs of families of children with autism and professionals who work with children with autism.
For more information or to register for any of the following programs, please call Lynn Dudek at 614-228-5523 or contact us online.
Professional Academies
Led by local autism experts, these professional academies cover six topics designed to meet the needs of professionals who work with or serve families of children with autism spectrum disorders. Topics include Autism 101, Creation of Visual Supports, ASD and the SLP, Introduction to Comprehensive Planning, Transition from School to Adulthood, and Sensory Strategies. CEUs, PDCH certificates, and certificates of attendance are available.
Family Workshops
Do you or someone you know have a child with autism? Easter Seals family workshops offer the support, resources, and guidance you need to prepare yourself for the journey from your child's diagnosis through his or her transition into adulthood.
Workshops are offered Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at our Central Ohio facility.
Easter Seals also has a weekend respite program. Learn more about our weekend respite program here.
